A leisurely trip from the golden sands of Gorleston-on-sea through Oulton Broad to the East Anglian Transport Museum where you will find running trams, trolley buses and a living cobbled period street and museum.
After a tea and cake stop at the Museum, you travel through the Waveney Valley to Southwold, the gem in the Suffolk coast famous for its eccentric pier, crabbing, Adnams beer and fish and chips. Park up a while and take in the small shops and cafes and mooch around the seafront or pier.
Continue back through the Waveney valley to be splendid market town of Beccles with local shops, cafes and river front before a gentle drive back through the Haddiscoe Dam marshes, over the river at St Olaves and back to Gorleston-on-Sea for a well learnt cuppa on the Victorian prom.
